History
This building is part of a strip on West Chester Pike, across from the fire station. It was present in the 1930 census, but does not appear earlier. It contains a bottom floor for business and a top floor for residence. It was a drug store as early as 1929.

In 1934, it was the home of William Devilla Sante, who was arrested for burglary, and during an attempted escape was recorded as having bit an officer on the finger.

Bertha died in 1952. In 1967, it was home to Strat's Beauty Salon, from which a burglary occurred.

In 1953, the Kenny family lived there at the time their son, George, was saved from drowning in Avalon.

Edward Hurwitz lived there in 1971, and in 1977, it was location to the business of John Rush Travel. Paulette's hair designs was there at least between May and October 2009, but has been home to Dee's hair salon since April 2012.
